MEET DR. SARAH WOODS
Dr. Sarah Woods joins Women’s Health of Central Virginia as a board certified Gynecologist. She offers full scope gynecological services: cervix cancer screening/treatment for cervical dysplasia, contraception, infertility work-up and first line treatment, PCOS care, menopausal concerns, endometriosis, vulvar concerns, and consults for medical and surgical management of abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids and endometriosis.
Her special areas of interest include minimally invasive gynecology surgery and pediatric and adolescent gynecology. She enjoys the long-term relationships that she can build with her patients every day. Her favorite part of her job is helping her patients make decisions to improve the quality of their lives.
A Southeastern Idaho native, she loves the Blue Ridge Mountains and outdoor activities that Lynchburg has to offer, as well as its proximity to major cities and beaches. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.
