Meet Morgan Clark Ashburn, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Morgan Clark Ashburn, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is thrilled to join the Women’s Health of Central Virginia team as a Family Nurse Practitioner. A Lynchburg native, Morgan is passionate about caring for women and families in the community she proudly calls home.

Morgan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from George Mason University. She maintains certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). During her time as a registered nurse, she was nominated multiple times for the DAISY Award in recognition of her compassionate patient care.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Morgan is grateful for the opportunity to help patients navigate each stage of life with confidence and evidence-based care. While she enjoys all aspects of women’s healthcare, she has a particular interest in pregnancy, birth, newborn care and pediatrics.

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, their children, and their dog, Cleo. She can also be found reading books of all genres and binge-watching shows with her husband.
