MEET DR. KIM FREEMAN
Dr. Freeman is a compassionate and thorough obstetrician/gynecologist with more than 25 years of experience. Born and raised in a small town outside of Buffalo, NY, Dr. Freeman moved to Virginia with her family at the age of 13 and has been a Virginian ever since. Dr. Freeman decided to pursue a career as an OB/GYN because she enjoys taking care of women throughout all phases of their lives, and this field allows her to work with both medical and surgical aspects of healthcare.
Above all else, nothing is more special to Dr. Freeman than helping to bring a newborn into the world. A special memory is caring for a patient (while in the military) throughout pregnancy and delivery who had lost her husband in the 9/11 attacks. At Women’s Health of Central Virginia, she loves working as part of a team to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes and long-term health.
Outside of the office, Dr. Freeman enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, friends and neighbors. You can also find her walking her dogs, downhill skiing, reading, exercising and visiting wineries. She loves the friendliness and thoughtfulness of the Lynchburg community, as well as the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains!
