MEET DR. AJITH Z. CHERIAN
Dr. Ajith Z. Cherian is a board certified OB/GYN practicing in Lynchburg, VA. His optimistic, caring and positive approach immediately puts his patients at ease and it is very rare to find him without a smile on his face.
Nature is one of Dr. Cherian’s sacred places and he enjoys gardening and exploring with his family. Dr. Cherian, a master gardener, finds the outdoors to be therapeutic. An astronomy minor in college, he can talk about space as well as medicine. He stays busy at home with young twins, a toddler, a boxer, a cat, chickens and a rescue turtle!
A native of DC, he and his wife, Dr. Catherine Schuller, moved to Lynchburg to practice medicine together. They work well together as a team, even in the operating room. A teacher by nature, he currently lectures at Liberty University’s Medical School and was on the faculty at the University of Kentucky prior to moving back to Virginia.
